Prior to the Pandemic of 2020, Midoma Gallery was a concept space in New York that has since moved to an exclusively online presence. Midoma focussed on the ‘Beauty of Art and The Art of Beauty’ by bringing together artists from diverse sectors across the artistic spectrum.
Bruckner had the opportunity to show her work in two solo shows there, ‘A Red Thread’ in 2018 and ‘On Repeat’ in 2019. She participated as co curator and artist in the group show ‘A Wall for Immigrants’ in 2019 and contributed to the 2020 show ‘Love Peace Empowerment’, which transformed the Gallery wall into a display of work by New York Street Artists as a final statement for the concept space before closing.
Karin Bruckner’s work continues to be featured on Midoma’s online venue and participated in a two-month two-person Midoma 3.0 Pop-up Show at McCarthy Mercantile in Syracuse, NY. An expanded version of OFF THE WALL will be on view at Delavan Studios Syracuse in May 2022. A Pop-Up Artshow with Syracuse Artists is in the works for January 2023 on Walton Street, Downtown Syracuse, NY.
